Replace Header Text with Image

The Moesis theme offers Welcome title text, or a Welcome logo that displays in the header area. I noticed the Perth theme does not offer the option to display a Welcome logo image. How can a logo image be used instead for the Perth theme?

Using latest versions of WP, theme, plugins. And, using child theme.

Thank you!

Dear Ben,

To achieve such that objective, could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

.header-info .header-text{
  height: 100px;
  background-image: url('http://yoursite.com/path/to/image.jpg');
  background-size: 100px 100px;
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-position: top center;
  text-indent: -9999px; /* Hide the text */
}

Replace http://yoursite.com/path/to/image.jpg to the URL path to your image.

Kharis

Awesome! That works great. I should have mentioned the image needs to be responsive. How can this be made possible?

Thanks!

Dear Ben,

Please share the link to your site, so I could provide you the working code depending on your setup.

Site: http://apprica.com. The css was placed in the child theme style.css file.

Dear Ben,

Thank you for the link. It helped me a lot.

Please replace this line:

/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/logo-header-400x289.png

with:

http://apprica.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/logo-header-400x289.png

Please make sure that your image is accessible. You can test it by copy/paste into the web browser’s address bar and visit it.

Kharis
