Removing the menu

I want to remove the menu completely from my site.

I have used the customer CSS codes in previous forums and worked until the update of WP.

Now I can’t seem to remove the menu but I can remove the footer?

Any help appreciated.

Hello @creativelookout,

Can you please provide a link to your website?

I’m not sure what you mean regarding the footer, can you please provide more details?

Kind Regards, Roman.

The link is.

Regarding the footer, I removed it using CSS code but it doesn’t seem to be working with the menu.

Hello @creativelookout,

Looks like it’s not default Sydney menu. Can you please explain how you added it?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Sorry, the menu I have created I want to to keep.

The white section at the top with “create your menu here” is Sydney and that’s what I want to remove, from all pages.

Hope this makes sense?

Your help is much appreciated.

Hello @creativelookout,

Please try to use the following CSS code in order to hide (not remove) Sydney header. You should modify header.php file in order to remove (not hide) it.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

div.header-clone {
    display: none;

Kind Regards, Roman.
