Remove the fact-value from About section on front page

How do I remove the fact-value from About section on front page? When I delete it or comment it out from the code, my entire front page changes. Instead of the backgrounds covering from left to right, it changes to a small block.

Also, I only want 3 facts and not 4. When I attempt to remove or comment it out, the same thing happens as with the fact-value.

What am I doing wrong? Please help.

Hello @joshann,

I’m not sure what is your issue, can you please provide some explanatory screenshots?

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks for following up with me. The Perth theme has an ‘About’ section on the Front Page that includes values as indicated in the pic at the link below. I want to removed those values.

However, when I attempt to take the values out of the code, the format changes to the look in the screen print below. Thanks

Hello @joshann,

It looks like a Perth FP: Facts widget issue, I have already added this issue to our list. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next theme update.

As a temporary workaround, you can try to use the following CSS code in order to hide (not remove) fact-value and last fact.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up).

.fact .fact-value,
.facts-area .fact:last-child {
    display: none;

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks! It’s working. Was a little quirky at first, but I restored history and it seems to be working better now. Thanks again.

You are welcocme @joshann!

Kind Regards, Roman.
