Remove Sidebar right comletely

i want to remove the right sidebar completely.
In meun widgets there is no option.

Can anybody please help me??

Hello Daniel,

If you want to remove the right sidebar from your blog page, then please go to your Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Blog options -> set Blog layout to Full width (no sidebar).

If you want to remove the right sidebar from single posts as well, then you have to check Full width single posts? checkbox in Blog layout section that is mentioned above.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

i checked that, now sidebar is gone, but the post is not full width.

See here:

Okay Daniel,

Please try to use this CSS code to make your content area full-width:

.content-area.col-md-9 {
    width: 100% !important;

But please note that you will have to remove that code if you decide to use sidebar.

You can add CSS code to style.css file of your child theme, also you can use Simple Custom CSS or similar plugin for adding CSS code.

I hope that it will help you.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks a lot… really great support.

It worked

You are welcome Daniel :slight_smile:

I am glad that it worked!

It would be nice if you leave your feedback for Sydney at, here is a quick link.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Sure i wil rate ist.

One left problem:

The quantity box on the product page shows not correctliy. The box where customers can change the quantity they want to buy

Could there be a solution too???

Sure Daniel,

Please try this CSS code to make the quantity box on the product page look better:

.woocommerce input.input-text.qty.text {
    height: 32px;
    border-radius: 3px;

Kind Regards, Roman.

I want to remove the sidebar area on some pages but not all - can you tell me how please?

Hello Elyn,

For pages, you can select Full width template when editing a page. This option is located in the right sidebar (of page editing screen) -> Page Attributes widget -> Template.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Sondre,

Please create a new topic for your issue, include a link to this topic, and provide some explanatory screenshots in order to show how you want it to look.

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online screenshot services.
