Doea anybody knows if I have PHP version 7.0 on my hosting I will be able to edit footer.php? I am trying to do now and all the times I have a problem with editing. On diferent i was able but this is not possible.

There’s a very easy way to remove “Powered by WordPress”, just use the WordPress plugin “WP Hide and Security Enhancer”. This plugin can also change and hide URL, it can even hide your WordPress core files along with login page, theme, and plugin from general site visitors, learned about it on Wpblog, so do check it out.
