Remove Mobile Menu Search

Hello,
We would like to remove the search bar from the mobile menu but can’t seem to figure out how to do it. Is there a specific setting for this or do we need to add some CSS?

Hi,

Try adding the below CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .mobile-menu .mobile-menu__search {
      display: none;
    }

Thanks a lot Kharis,
We tried this already and it didn’t work, but this time we put it at the top of the Additional CSS and it worked so there must be something in the rest of our CSS which was blocking it.
We have been trying to move the burger over to the right of the page using:

.toggle-mobile-menu {
    float: right;
    margin: 5px;
}

But it isn’t doing anything. Are we using the correct Class?

Thank you!

Hi,

Thank you for getting back.

Can you share a link to your website here, so I can do direct inspection?

Sure thing, it’s:

Hi,

Thank you for sharing the link.

As checked with my mobile phone, the mobile menu doesn’t show the search menu.

Perhaps you would need to fluh your web browser’s cache/history as it might still load the cached version of your website. Also, you would need to clear the cache from your website (if it is enabled).

Hi Kharis,
As stated in my previous message, the removal of the search function has worked perfectly in the end, no problem there. However, my question was another regarding the repositioning of the burger. I’ll open another topic specifically for that to avoid any further confusion.

Hi,

Sorry for the confusion.

I have just written you an answer to your new topic here: Repositioning the burger
