Remove image tooltips on hover

Hi,

I would like to completely remove the tooltip that appear when ones hover on an image on my website.

Any chance you can help with that ?

Many thanks
Thomas

Hi,

Please post a link to your website, to a page where you have a tooltip on image hover, so I can check.

Hi there,

Thanks agin for helping out with this.

My website is in maintenance mode but I already gave you editor access details for previous query if you look for an email from thomas@2m.com.au in your mailbox you will find them.

And then just head over to http://2m.com.au/new/index.php/voice-over-case-study/ page.

Although I’m trying to remove these tooltips for every images on the website.

Thanks
Thomas

Hi,

Ok, I’m still logged in to your site, but I can’t see any tooltip over you image, can you please post a link to a screenshot how that looks like, so I can check.

Csaba

Hi,

please find here a link to the screenshot screenshot tooltip

You can see it if you head over the following page on my website http://2m.com.au/new/index.php/our-services/

Although I have been changing some images over the website and these tooltips just seem to appear randomly not sure what’s the reason here…

Thanks for assisting with this.
Regards
Thomas

Hi,

Those aren-t tooltips, they are title / alt image info which the browser will show you when you hover an image which have a set alt, data title or data description text, so you may need to remove the text from alt, data title and data-description from the images, it can’t be removed with CSS or code.

Csaba

Hi Csaba,

Thank you for having a look into this, I guess I’ll have to find a compromise then.

Thanks again for the great support.

Thomas
