Could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

.page-id-153 .title-post{
  display: none;
}

Kharis

Page title still showing: http://brandonlblankenship.com/about-brandon-l-blankenship/

What else should I do?

#6

Hello there,

I noticed the code hasn’t yet been applied. Or have you intentionally removed it?

Hello there,

For security reason, I removed the login credentials you shared.

Could you please confirm if you have properly applied the following code?

.page-id-153 .title-post{
  display: none;
}

and make sure the group of CSS code which it belongs to is error free? You can examine it using this tool.

Thanks for the validation tool. I removed the code that seemed problematic and this fixed my spacing problem. I removed over half my CSS code (see below).

The only thing that I would like to improve (after removing the CSS code) is the formatting when someone prints a blog post. Is there an easy way to make a “printer friendly” format of a post for printing?

Removed CSS Code:

@media print{
body{
font-size: 16px;
}
h2 {
font-size: 42px;
}
.hentry .title-post{
font-size: 20px;
}
.hentry .meta-post, .hentry .meta-post a{
font-size: 32px;
}
.hentry blockquote{
font-size: 16px;
}
#primary{
width: 100%;
}
.page-template-page_fullwidth .entry-header{
display: none;
visibility: hidden;
}

#pg-693 h1{
margin-top: 0;
}

#pg-693 h3{
margin-bottom: 0;
}
.page-id-247 .page-wrap,
.page-id-247 .content-wrapper,
#pg-693 > .panel-row-style{
padding-top: 0 !important;
padding-bottom: 0 !important;
}

#pg-693 > .panel-row-style{
padding-left: 0 !important;
padding-right: 0 !important;
}

.page-template-page_fullwidth .entry-footer{
display: none;
visibility: hidden;
}

.page-template-page_fullwidth .content-area .hentry{
padding-bottom: 0;
}

There is no an instant way to style the content viewed in print preview mode. You must code it manually line by line. The CSS code you removed contains an error. It is missing } closing. It should have been like:

@media print{

  body{
  font-size: 16px;
  }
  h2 {
  font-size: 42px;
  }
  .hentry .title-post{
  font-size: 20px;
  }
  .hentry .meta-post, .hentry .meta-post a{
  font-size: 32px;
  }
  .hentry blockquote{
  font-size: 16px;
  }
  #primary{
  width: 100%;
  }
  .page-template-page_fullwidth .entry-header{
  display: none;
  visibility: hidden;
  }

  #pg-693 h1{
  margin-top: 0;
  }

  #pg-693 h3{
  margin-bottom: 0;
  }
  .page-id-247 .page-wrap,
  .page-id-247 .content-wrapper,
  #pg-693 > .panel-row-style{
  padding-top: 0 !important;
  padding-bottom: 0 !important;
  }

  #pg-693 > .panel-row-style{
  padding-left: 0 !important;
  padding-right: 0 !important;
  }

  .page-template-page_fullwidth .entry-footer{
  display: none;
  visibility: hidden;
  }

  .page-template-page_fullwidth .content-area .hentry{
  padding-bottom: 0;
  }

}

Kharis,

Thank you for sharing you incredible depth of knowledge with us. That fixed my coding error.

Is the @media print code what I need to clean up post prints? I don’t know much about CSS coding but it seems odd that this code has page numbers in it.

Dear Brandon,

> I don’t know much about CSS coding but it seems odd that this code has page numbers in it.

Could you please take a screenshot of it and share it here? You need to upload it to the free file hosting service like cloudup.com or Google Drive first.
