Remove empty content padding?

Hi…I’m seriously new at Wordpress and kind of took a crash course over the last two days.

My website is raelydia.com, and I’m trying to get all of the excess black on the bottom to go away, and just have the footer. The musician wants it to be a simple splash page just to get her started, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Thank!

Hello there,

Thank you for asking.

In order to achieve that objective, could you please try to do the following?

  1. Install and activate the Simple Custom CSS plugin
  2. Go to Appearance > Custom CSS panel
  3. Paste the following code in the provided CSS code editor box
.home #content{
  display: none;
}
  1. Update Custom CSS

Let me know how it works.

Warmest regards,
Kharis

Thanks for responding so quickly!

I added the code, and it still seems to have a space. I also looked through other posts on here and haven’t been able to resolve the issue. :frowning:

Hello there,

I would be happy to take care of this for you.

Could you please try to do the following?

  • Clear your browser’s cache
  • Clear your site’s cache if you have an active cache plugin like W3 Total Cache

If they don’t give any changes, could you please give me a temporary access to your site admin area so I can have a closer look? You can send the login credentials to my email kharisblank at gmail dotcom.

Warmest regards,
Kharis

thank you so much! that is all i needed to do before adding that coding, apparently. you’re amazing.
