Remove dates in blog

Hi!

I wanted to remove the blog dates - see example.

I did a search here in the forum and found this code:

.athemes_blog_widget .entry-meta .meta-dash,
    .athemes_blog_widget .entry-meta .posted-on {
      display: none;
    }

However, it does not work.

Can you help me?

Hello,

Can you please provide a link to an affected page?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman! :slight_smile:
The site is in maintenance mode and can not be published yet. Can not you help me with photos or otherwise?

Thank you.

Regards,
Sara

Okay Sara,

Try to use this CSS code instead of what you mentioned above:

.entry-meta .meta-dash,
.entry-meta .posted-on {
    display: none;
}

You can also add this CSS code for author and category pointers:

.entry-meta .byline::before {
    content: 'Author: ';
}

.entry-meta .byline::after {
    content: '. ';
}

.entry-meta .cat-links::before {
    content: 'Category: ';
}

You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,thanks.

However, instead of the last code … Would it be possible to use a code in which a category was removed?

Thank you!

Sara

Okay Sara,

Try to use this CSS code:

.entry-meta .cat-links {
    display: none;
}

…instead of this:

.entry-meta .cat-links::before {
    content: 'Category: ';
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi roman :slight_smile:

Thank you very much.

Roman, just one more doubt.

Is it possible to remove the “see all our news” link?

Thank you.

Sara

Hello Sara,

I suppose that you want to remove button in Talon: Blog widget. If it’s correct, try to use the following CSS code to hide (not remove) that button. You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

.widget_athemes_blog.athemes_blog_widget .blog-button {
    display: none;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello.

I want to remove what is red in the image.

The code you submitted does not work. Is there no alternative?

Thanks.

Hello Sara,

That code should remove the button, how did you add the code?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman :slight_smile:

I made “copy-paste” the CSS code in the section Customize → Additional CSS.

.widget_athemes_blog.athemes_blog_widget .blog-button {
Show none;
}

Hello Sara,

I don’t think that I can provide much help here without a link, unfortunately.

Kind Regards, Roman.
