Remove border around menu

Hi there!

  1. I’m using the Finance child theme and it appears an annoying blue line around the menu field. I have no idea how can I remove it. It also seems that the menu is going a bit more to the right side.

  1. How can I make the slider images show after the top menu not under it? Im asking it because I want to add a background colour in the menu area but if I do it its going to cut the guys head.

Any thoughts??

Tia

Hello Tia,

Please try adding the below CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .site-header {
      border: none !important;
    }

    @media only screen and (min-width: 1025px) {
      .site-header,
      .site-header.fixed,
      .site-header.float-header {
        position: static;
        background-color: #ff0000;
      }
    }

This code will unset any border that might be applied in other place.

    .site-header {
      border: none !important;
    }

Thanks, Karis!

It kinda worked! The blue line is gone but the menu still seems to be a bit to the right

And another question:
How do I make the slider image starts after the menu not under like it is right now?

Hello there,

Please try adding the below CSS code:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 1025px) {
      #mainnav {
        float: left;
        margin-left: 30px;
      }
      .site-header,
      .site-header.fixed,
      .site-header.float-header{
        position: static;
      }
    }
