You can not translate an expression “One thought on” and “thought on” because they do not exist in the file sydney.pot. However, they are in the file sydney/comments.php
Can you fix it?
I am sorry for the inconvenience. I can confirm that it’s a bug that shouldn’t have existed. To fix it yourself, please FTP your site and access the the root/wp-content/themes/sydney/languages folder. Then replace the sydney.pot file with this one. Then sync the changes from your translation tool.
The permanent fix will come in the next version update.
Now is good. Thanks. New sydney.pot has 30KB, old has 72KB. Is this a bug?
I can confirm that it isn’t a bug.
The older file is a bit heavier because the string location path is quite long. For example:
#: D:\Programe\InstantWP\InstantWP_4.3.1\iwpserver\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\sydney/404.php:15 msgid "Oops! That page can’t be found." msgstr ""
In the new file I shared, it looks just like this:
#: 404.php:15 msgid "Oops! That page can’t be found." msgstr ""
You can compare them side by side.
