Pinterest icon issue

Hi,

My Pinterest social icon wasn’t displayed correctly and I found the following code on other post, is it valid code? What does content: ‘\f0d3’; mean?

.social-menu-widget a[href*="pinterest.jp"]::before {
   content: '\f0d3';
}

It looks fine and I’d just like to hear you guys confirmation.

Hello there,

\f0d3 is special CSS code that converts to Pinterest icon when web browser renders it.

Probably you would rather circular Pinterest icon. If so, you would add the below simple CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .atframework_social_widget .social-menu-widget a[href*="pinterest.jp"]::before {
      content: '\f0d2';
    }

Once applied, do not forget to flush any active cache on your site. Otherwise, web browser will only load cached version and ignore your new code addition.

Excellent, Kharis. I changed it to yours. The special CSS code is a tricky one.

You’re welcome!
