Photo header on ipad

Hi, My website looks perfectly fine on iphone and laptop, but the photo of the header seems to be non-responsive on the ipad. On the ipad it takes the whole page, instead of only the upper part of the screen. This is the case with all pages, so not only the homepage (where the slider must use the whole screen). How can I fix this? Thanks, Laura

Hello there,

Please share a link to your site, so I can have a look.

Www.more4expats.comhttp://Www.more4expats.com. The problem is especially when you keep the iPad in landscape.

Thanks Laura

Hello Laura,

Please try adding the below CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    @media only screen and (min-width: 780px) and (max-width: 1024px) {

      .header-slider {
        height: 500px !important;
      }

      .slide-inner {
        -webkit-transform: translateY(-80%);
        -moz-transform: translateY(-80%);
        -ms-transform: translateY(-80%);
        -o-transform: translateY(-80%);
        transform: translateY(-80%);
      }

    }

Dear Kharis, thanks for your help but after adding the code I still see the whole photo on the screen of my ipad (in landscape) and it’s not clear that the visitor should scroll down to see the text. Regards, Laura

Hello there,

Please try clearing any applied cache from your site admin area, and try again.

Hi there, it didn’t help… Is it possible to keep only the homepage slider for iPad and iPhone and to omit the slider on the other pages for iPad and iPhone? For my website www.more4expats this would mean that on iPad and iPhone the tulips on pages like https://more4expats.com/tailor-made-serviceshttps://more4expats.com/tailor-made-services/ would dissapear on mobile devices.

Thanks Laura
