Padding Above Header in Blog Post

#1

Hi,

I’ve disabled the site header and have added an image as part of the row on a blog post. How can I reduce the padding above the first row? At the moment there’s the menu, then a white gap, then the image.

This CSS only works for Pages, where it works nicely with the menu sitting on top of the image.

.page-wrap,
.page .page-wrap .content-wrapper {
padding-top: 0;
}

Thanks

Hi,

For single post it should go like this:

.single .page-wrap,
.single .page-wrap .content-wrapper {
padding-top: 0;
}

If the code doesn’t work, please provide us with your page link so we can inspect your page in order to provide correct code.

Best Regards

Thanks, that has halved it, but there is still a gap…

Hi,

Yes, this is probably padding on that element http://screencast.com/t/eCpJ6AkDX , check it here http://screencast.com/t/sdnOKN9Q

Hi,

Thanks, but that doesn’t seem to be it. I’ve taken that row and text box out, now I have a row that has the background image (set to full width, padding 0) and an empty text box in that row. The text box is set to 25% padding, so that it enlarges the image - when I remove the 25% padding the image is only a few pixels high and the white gap remains.

With text box padding at 25% - http://tombrownproductions.com/test-post-2/

With text box padding at 0% - http://tombrownproductions.com/test-post-3/

Thanks again

Hi,

Your page is clear of top paddings :slight_smile: , in addition you can add custom css code below:

.single .entry-header, .page .entry-header {
    margin-bottom: 0;
}

and white space is from here http://screencast.com/t/5AxKMgnGiV, just set that to 0, and image will start from top http://screencast.com/t/bucwNtdtWEOp
