Override bootstrap CSS that display URLs on print page

Hi there,

My website currently displays all the hyperlink details in print view. This is distracting so I would like for these to not appear when printed.

I installed the Print-O-Matic plugin thinking that this would help solve the issue but when I contacted them they advised as follows:

"The display of urls on the print page is due to the bootstrap css, specifically this part:

@media print {

a[href]:after{content:" (" attr(href) “)”}

}

Since this is included by the active theme (sydney), you might want to reach out to the theme developers, or figure out how to override this manually."

Therefore I would really appreciate some help with overriding this manually as I don’t know where to start.

Thanks,
Laura.

Hello Laura,

Please try adding the below CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    @media print {
      a[href]:after {
        content: '' !important;
      }
    }
