Option for enabling/disabling Google Fonts

I really love Google Fonts so much, but my preferred fonts belong to Google Fonts Early Access so that no plugin can directly call them for typography.

Of course, even Google Fonts is built-in option, it still can’t call the fonts from early access.

I modify style.css to import google fonts early access and add them to font-family but google fonts early access still don’t work well.

Could you add an option for enabling/disabling built-in Google Fonts so that I can modify style.css for working well.

Hello Alex,

Can you please describe what exactly you want to achieve?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

I have same problem,
I Want use Noto Sans TC (Chinese Traditional) in the sydney themes
but Noto Sans TC (Chinese Traditional) just in the Google Fonts Early Access

Could you tell me how to use Google Fonts Early Access font?

Best Regards,

Hello Richard,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

@import url(//fonts.googleapis.com/earlyaccess/notosanstc.css);

html body {
    font-family: 'Noto Sans TC', sans-serif;

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.
