Open submenu on mobile devices

Hi Support,

First, thx for your cool theme.
I have an issue with submenu, when i want open it on mobile devices like tablets, smartphones etc…
it opens only the page, and not the submenu entries.
I can only access the submenu, when i still stay a bit longer on the menu link, then i can close the browser questions and now i see the submenu.
Are there some parameters in a css file, where can i block the main menu entry, so only the submenus opens.

Sorry, this is not 100% clear for me, I can see the submenus by clicking on the title of the parent menu item, the submenu appears instantly after clicking on the parent menu item.

U are right, when u click it with the mouse. but when you use your finger it will open the page and not the submenu.

I have tested this on an iPhone 5S and if I tap on “Die Garde” once, it opens the sub-menu, only if I tap twice it opens the page, on what device have you checked this?

mmh ok, i have tested with different mobile devices samsung galaxy s3, s4, tab, fujitsu t935.
Can i modify some css files or so, so the mainmenu will open all submenu when a customer click at the menupoint.

Hi,

What you can do is to don’t link the Parent Menu item ( “Die Garde” ) to a page, so add the sub-menu’s parent menu item to be a custom link to #, so on these smartphones / tabs when you click on the parent menu item the sub-menu will be shown.
