Notification bar overlapping logo on homepage

Hi

Appreciate if you can help me. I’ve installed Foobar notification bar that was recommended in another Sydney forum topic. When I’ve set up the notification bar, and told it to sit at the top and push everything else down, it overlaps the logo.

I was thinking that I can increase the margin in the header to allow for this. Can you do this in CSS?

Help appreciated.

Thanks

Alex

Dear Alex,

Could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

tr.foobar-container-row td{
  width: 0 !important;
}

tr.foobar-container-row td.foobar-container-left{
  width: 100% !important;
}

@media only screen and (min-width:992px){

  .site-header{
    margin-top: 50px;
  }

  .header-slider{
    margin-top: -20px;
  }

}

Let me know how it works.

Kharis

Hi,

You can move the logo down, so the foobar will not cover by increasing the site-header’s padding-top with 30px, using this Custom CSS:

.site-header {
    padding-top: 50px !important;
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also use this plugin to add the CSS to it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/ so you will not loose the changes on theme updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Csaba

Thanks Csaba,

That seems to have done the trick.

Cheers

Alex
