Not able to find my js/main.min.js file

Hey there,

I’ve changed the breakpoint of my mobile menu before, so that the desktop menus is visible also on mobile and tablet.

Just now I discovered, that this is not working anymore.

Last time I have changed that, I did it with help of this thread: Header menu on larger tablets

I wanted to do this again but however, I am not able to find neither my js/main.js file nor my js/main.min.js file to edit the required code block.

I hope somebody can help me with that.

Hi,

We have changed the main theme’s script to become pure JavaScript in the newest version of Sydney. Due to this, you’ll need to try the below steps:

  1. Open the sydney/js/functions.js, then copy the whole content of it; then paste it into sydney/js/functions.min.js. So it will be more readable

  2. In the sydney/js/functions.min.js, find the following code block

      if ( window.matchMedia( "(max-width: 1024px)" ).matches ) {
  1. Change it to
      if ( window.matchMedia( "(max-width: 768px)" ).matches ) {
  1. Save the changes, then update it through FTP or cPanel

Thank you!

I was able to find it now,
however, I cannot change the menu.

I don’t want the mobile menu, I want the desktop menu all the time.

Right now, it just shows the mobile menu, not collapsed tho, so the submenu is always visible as soon as it changes to mobile.

Hope you can help me again with that.
