No header image - wide: Full width not possible!

Hi there,

I want to make a page with the template “no header image - wide” but the content isn’t displayed in full width (or “stretched”) when I select the row-layout-item “full width stretched”.

But it’s working fine with the template “featured header image - wide”. I just don’t want to have a header on that certain page.

Is there maybe a css solution?

I’m sorry, I can’t provide a link because I’m working offline. Let me know, if you want some information or screenshots.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cheers
Charly

Hello Charly,

I have just tried to recreate your issue on my local Sydney Pro install, but Full Width Stretched row option worked with both templates that you mentioned above. So I don’t think that I can find the cause without a link.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

ok, it’s online now: https://goo.gl/4rkvJf

As you can see, the background works fine as full width stretched. Apparently it’s just the content that can’t be displayed the right way.

Thank you!

Kind regards
charly

Hello Charly,

You added this CSS rule in Simple Custom CSS plugin (row 117-119):

.post-wrap .panel-row-style{
padding: 20px 200px !important;
}

Please remove it in order to fix this issue.

Kind Regards, Roman.

By the way, now you can use Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS section instead of Simple Custom CSS plugin.

That section comes from WordPress itself, it appeared in WordPress 4.7.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Roman,

thank you so much! It works perfectly.

Have a nice day!
Charly

Great, you are welcome Charly!

And have a nice day as well :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.
