Need help changing color of button, menu and red line

I have been looking through some posts and found one to change the back to top button, but am am struggling to get the code for the learn more button, red underlining in the slider and menu link.

I would like to change those from the default red.

I have the CSS add- on and used the following:

/*Back to top Button*/
/* Normal state */
.go-top{
  background-color: #3d3de3;
  color: #000;
}

/* On hover state */
.go-top:hover{
  background-color: #000;
}
/* Remove Red Line */
#pg-2-0 .widget.title::after {
  display: none;

/* CTA Button */
div.widget_sydney_action a.roll-button {
    color: white;
    background-color: #3d3de3;
}

The only one that is working is the back to top button. Can anyone help.

The site is www.hankhoffmeier.com

Thanks

Hello there,

It seems like your code contain an error. #pg-2-0 .widget.title::after missing } closing tag. It should have been like:

/*Back to top Button*/
/* Normal state */
.go-top{
background-color: #3d3de3;
color: #000;
}

/* On hover state */
.go-top:hover{
background-color: #000;
}
/* Remove Red Line */
#pg-2-0 .widget.title::after {
display: none;
}

/* CTA Button */
div.widget_sydney_action a.roll-button {
color: white;
background-color: #3d3de3;
}

Thank you Kharis. I made the change but the line is still there and the button color is still red.

Hello there,

Please try this code:

.text-slider .maintitle:after{
	display: none;
}

.button-slider{
	background-color: #3d3de3;
	border-color: #3d3de3;
}

.button-slider:hover,
#mainnav ul li a:hover{
  color: #3d3de3;
}

I was not aware that I could change the colors in customize>colors>general>primary color. That was exactly what I needed and changed everything! Thank you for the help though. Now to to get the top header bar to always be black on desktop rather than transparent until scrolling. Any ideas?

Hello there,

Try adding this code:

.site-header{
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.9);
}

Awesome. Thank you! Any way to make it work on all pages except the main page?

I know that I could probably spell out what pages have it?

Thanks in advance!

Use this, please:

body:not(.home) .site-header{
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.9);
}

Kharis

That did it!

Thank you very much!

No problem. Just go easy on it. :slight_smile:
