Multi Language

Hi,

I’d love to add two flags on each page of my website (www.andreavitello.com) and link each of these to the respective page in the respective language (something like www.artesitalia.it).

WIll it be possible with Sydney ?
If not, do you have any template that would allow that ?

Thanks !

Hello there,

Thank you for getting in touch here.

Yes, it is possible. We recommend you to use the Polylang plugin and do some proper setting. Please head on here for more guidance of how to.

To display the language switcher, see this video:

You can put it at any place of choice by inserting this snippet:

<ul class="flags">
<?php pll_the_languages(array('show_flags'=>1,'show_names'=>0)); ?>
</ul>

If you wish it to be placed in the header, you can insert in the header.php file in child theme mode. Download it here if you haven’t been running it yet. Then copy the header.php file from parent theme to the child theme.
