Move text down on video header

Hi,

I want to move down ( padding ) the Title Text that is over-layed over the header video.

Also is it possible to change font and size used?

Thanks

just an updated:

I need to across all browsers, I’ve notice that chrome is central (with some .css, not sure of its right) but on Firefox the video title is further up the screen.

Thanks

Hello Stuart,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

.sydney-hero-area .slide-inner {
    top: 60%;
}

I have just checked it in Chrome and Firefox, and it seems to look the same.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi,

The above code worked however how do I reduce the size of the font on the mobile site(s) Especially mobile phones.

Thanks
Stuart

Hello Stuart,

It should be gradually reduced automatically by default.

Your custom CSS code seems to be preventing it:

.text-slider .maintitle {
    font-size: 45px;
    font-weight: 600;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

OK I removed that.

  1. How would I change the title and sub-title font size and type?
  2. Please check mobile view, as the current title sits at the bottom. To clear this up, is it possible not to have title and subtitle in mobile or tablet view?

Thanks
Stuart

Hello Stuart,

  1. I don’t think that you have to remove the code above. I think that you should wrap it into media query:
@media (min-width: 768px) {
    .text-slider .maintitle {
        font-size: 45px;
        font-weight: 600;
    }
}
  1. Similarly, please try to wrap this custom CSS code:
.sydney-hero-area .slide-inner {
    top: 70%;
}

…like this:

@media (min-width: 640px) {
    .sydney-hero-area .slide-inner {
        top: 70%;
    }
}

Kind Regards, Roman.
