Move logo to the left

Hi,
I can´t find the setting for this in the Customizer. The logo is centered now, but would like to see how it looks like if I move it to the left. I use Sydney Pro.
Thanks
Jan

Hello Jan,

Can you please provide a link to affected website?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,
strange, my reply was regarded as s–m when answering from my mobile.
Hopefully, this will be better.
I was wondering if it´s possible to move logo to the left in Sydney Pro. I haven´t found any settings for this in the Customizer.

Hello Jan,

You can try to select Inline option for Menu style in Customize → Header area → Menu style section.

Kind Regards, Roman.

thanks, found it. It´s a pity you just can´t move the logo. Now the menu is on two lines, not looking pretty. I want the menu to stay in the centre as before.
No css for taking care of this?

Okay Jan,

Try to select Centered option in section that I mentioned above and use the following CSS code. You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

.header-wrap .col-md-4.col-sm-8.col-xs-12 {
    text-align: left;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Excellent Roman,

works…but there is a new problem coming up. The slider text covers the menu links when watching on my PC, https://lokalpartner.info/anette/
Is there a css for moving slider text a little bit further down?
Jan

Hello Jan,

I’m not sure what exactly you want to achieve, unfortunately.

Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots?

Kind Regards, Roman.

This is what I mean

Jan

Hello Jan,

I can not recreate this issue.

What is your screen resolution?

Kind Regards, Roman.

I have 1366x768 on my laptop.

Checked on my wife´s desktop, she has 1920x1080 and it worked fine.

Is it only to accept that my resoltion messes things up? And that means everybody else will have that problem with same resolution? Any way around this?
Jan

Hello Jan, try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

#slideshow .slide-inner {
    top: 60%;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Worked fine, thank you!

When checking everything on mobile, the logo was on the left side. Isn´t it supposed to be centered when watching on mobile? Compare with one of my other customers, kiropraktoreklund.se
It´s built with Sydney (free version) and on desktop the logo is to the left and on mobile it i centered.
How come?
Jan

Okay Jan, now you have this additional CSS code:

			@media (min-width: 1025px) {
    .header-contact .header-contact-info {
        width: 70%;
    }

    .header-contact .social-navigation {
        width: 30%;
    }
}

.header-wrap .col-md-4.col-sm-8.col-xs-12 {

    text-align: left;

}
#slideshow .slide-inner {
    top: 60%;
}

…please try to replace it with this:

@media (min-width: 1025px) {
    .header-contact .header-contact-info {
        width: 70%;
    }

    .header-contact .social-navigation {
        width: 30%;
    }

    .header-wrap .col-md-4.col-sm-8.col-xs-12 {
        text-align: left;
    }

    #slideshow .slide-inner {
        top: 60%;
    }
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

thanks Roman, worked!
But honestly, I can´t see there is a difference between the two css versions, but don´t mind…as long as it works :wink:
Jan

You are welcome Jan!

And have a nice day :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.

P. S.
The difference is that the curly bracket that closes this:
@media (min-width: 1025px) {
…is now at the very bottom :slight_smile:

yes, I can see that now. It´s the small things that make a difference…

I have now started with Tasty, have a couple of things I think I will have to ask you about, but will try to sort it out myself first.
Jan

Okay Jan,

Feel free to create a new topic if you need help.
