Modify Header Text Only

When I changed my Header text in the customizer, it sent my homepage header text and Site title header text to default.

I think I fixed the site title, but I don’t know how to restore the “Yoga + Wellness” text on the Homepage to what it was a few days ago.

I tried using similar code as the site title but it didnt work.

Thanks for the help!

Hello,

I’m not sure what is your issue, can you please describe it more precisely?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Yes,

  1. When you look at the text, Yoga + Wellness on the homepage it is in some font that I did not choose with serifs. I don’t know how to change this font only or make it like what I had 3 days ago.

  2. Can I lighten my homepage? The photo still looks dark to me?

Hello,

  1. Please provide a link to your website and describe what exactly you want to achieve (I don’t know what you had 3 days ago).

  2. Please create a new topic for your second issue to keep forum in good order and make it easier to help you.

Kind Regards, Roman.

    The font changed even though I didn’t add this font to the code. I changed the Header Text to Oswald for the pages and then this happened. I want the Header text on the home page to be Open Sans

Hello Samantha,

You can try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.

.header-info .header-text {
    font-family: Open Sans;
}

By the way, your custom CSS code includes many duplicate and unnecessary CSS rues, you might want to clean it up.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Roman, thank you. Can you please share which ones are duplicates? The reason I did it was because my changes wouldn’t save.

Hello Samantha,

Check CSS rules that have .site-title and .header-text selectors.
