Menu text Color and Widget text color

Hi! I have a problem. I want to change the text color of pages menu (main page, page 1,2,3…) on top and the text color in widgets. WI know that I can change them in theme options, but then the Sidebar text color changes (headers) and the section (with plus icon) of sidebar. What I need to add to CustomCSS to change that?

Hi,

Please post a link to your website and point out exactly what and to what you want to change it.

Website: http://coda.net.pl

http://s2.ifotos.pl/img/coda1jpg_swqhqph.jpg - navigation text is black and i want to change it, but only that text color, and this one http://s5.ifotos.pl/img/coda2jpg_swqhqpr.jpg in the widget. I can change it, but then text color changes in navi, widgets and in other places.

So what to add to CustomCSS to change only text in navi and tetx in widget?

Hi,

You can change the Menu link color with this Custom CSS:

.main-navigation a, .social-navigation li a, .entry-title a:hover, .widget-title, .widgettitle, .social-widget li a::before, .author-social a, .view-all, .view-all a {
    color: red;
}

and you can change the widget text color with this Custom CSS:

.widget, .widget a {
    color: blue !important;
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also use this plugin to add the CSS to it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/ so you will not loose the changes on theme updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Csaba
