Menu scroll not aligned


We are having trouble aligning the scroll down of the menu tags on our main page

When you click the “About” menu and scroll down to the about section, the scroll stops before aligning with the top menu bar. You can still see part of the section above the about section peaking in below the top menu. How do we adjust this scroll so that the section aligns flush with the top menu?

Currently we are just using the widget id - “#about” set in customize url to navigate to this section. The widget id is in the attributes of a SiteOrigin Headline.
