Menu Header keeps transparent while scrolling

Its funny because I have 2 websites using Sydney and the behaviour is so different.
In overlandgreece.com, the menu header gets darken while scrolling in the front-page.
It does not happen the same at thepinproject.eu.

CSS is the same though:

body:not(.home) .site-header {background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.4);}

Any idea?

P.S. I am talking about 1.73 version. Even the wording is different in some options when in Customize (WP menu)

Hi,

Your code works only on non-home pages, for example: Meet The Team. Because body:not(.home) presents. Did you notice it? Perhaps you want this code?

   .site-header {background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.4);}

this code darkens the menu header even when static.
check the behaviour of overlandgreece site menu header > its transparent and starts get darken while scrolling. the code is body:not(.home) .site-header {background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.4);}

any idea?

Hi,

Thank you for getting back.

Try this code:

.site-header.float-header {background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.4);}

please check the site I mentioned above to understand what I mean about the menu header which is initially transparent but darkens while scrolling.

It works with the code I mentioned in my first message that has been flagged cause I just mentioned my website…

Too much hassle… I think its time to move on with another theme. Its a pity because Sydney is a beautiful theme.

Thanks anyway for your time.
