Menu crash

Hello,

I have created menu with some subcategories.
Subcategories move to right and they crash the window when you hover on them.

How to make them open on the left side instead of right, so it would not crash the window?

Can you check on my site, when you hover on LAN section?

Hi,

What you can do to make the menu items to appear in screen, even if you add multiple levels, is if you make them to appear a bit more to left, using this Custom CSS:

#mainnav .sub-menu {
    margin-left: -70px;
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also use this plugin to add the CSS to it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/ so you will not loose the changes on theme updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Best Regards,
Csaba

Hi, Csaba,

It does not look really well…
Is it possible for menu sub-items drop to the left side rather than right?

I think that would work way better

Hi,

How I see you have already resolved it, your dropdown menus are now expanding to left instead of right.

The only way, I could have figured it out was when I installed MAx Mega Menu plugin.

It works in the desktop version, but now the mobile version struggles.

Submenus does are not displayed on the mobile version. What should I do?

Hi,

The mobile dropdown works, but only if you click on the parent menu item first, then on the arrow, just clicking the arrow will not show the submenu. If that’s a problem and you’re not OK about it, then please deactivate that plugin and let me know, so I can check if We can fix the sub-menu appearance with some Custom CSS.

Csaba
