Menu color

#1

Hello! I changed the menu color from black to red, but for a couple of weeks I don’t know why, when I make scroll, it turns again into black.

You can see it on this screenshot.

Hello @cecip,

It looks like a bug that occurs only between 992px and 1024px of width (I have already reported it), but please use the following CSS code to fix it for now:

#masthead {
    background-color: #9B0500;
    opacity: 0.9;
}

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard -> Appearance -> Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you, Roman.

I’ve just done it, but now I can see the color also at the top, without making scroll, and if I delete the css code I’d added, it doesn’t turn back.

Okay @cecip,

Please use this CSS code instead:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
    #masthead {
        background-color: #9B0500;
    }
}

Please let me know if it works in the right way.

Kind Regards, Roman.

No, sadly, it doesn’t work. If you want to see it: http://ceciliap-cp189.wordpresstemporal.com/

Edit: It works, really, but it’s black again :confused:

#6

Well, please try to also add this:

.site-header.float-header {
    background-color: #9B0500 !important;
    opacity: 0.9;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Now it works well! Thanks for your help :slight_smile:
