Menu bar opacity

The menu bar has a white box that interferes with the display of images on my page, i cant find a way of reducing the opacity or removing it altogether to just leave the menu items displayed . Any CSS for this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jevon,

Can you please provide a link to your website?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Jevon, thank you for the link.

However, I’m not sure what exactly you want to achieve. Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots?

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

Kind Regards, Roman.

Roman ,
Here is a link to an example as requested. what I would like to do is make the menu bar more transparent or remove the whited out area completely so that as a page is scrolled down images are not obscured behind it . Hope that makes sense !

Another screenshot edited for clarity

Hello Jevon, thank you for the screenshots and detailed explanation. Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up).

#masthead {
    background-color: transparent;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

That’s perfect Roman , thanks for your time .

You are welcome Jevon! :slight_smile:
