Menu background

When the main menu is static it has no background colour and when it is being sticky it gets a background colour - once you scroll down a bit. Is there any way to make it have a colour/opacity when it is set to static - or when it’s sticky, but pre-scroll?

I’m using revolution slider with full page photos and menu text isn’t always very visible. This is dependent on the photo, of course, but it would be nice not to have to worry about that and solve it in the text/background style.

Many thanks,

Please install a custom CSS plugin if you don’t have one already and add this:

.site-header {
  margin-top: 54px;
  background-color: rgba(255,255,204,0.9);
.home .fp-content-area {
  padding-top: 45px;
  padding-bottom: 45px;

I’ve also added some code there to create some padding for you rfront page because the template you’re using doesn’t add any because it’s meant to work with the page builder.

Hi Vlad,

Brilliant! Thank you, that’s perfect. I really appreciate your help.

All the best,
