Menu at top covers header (banner) image

Hello, I’m working on a new site, and I want the nav bar (menu) to be at the top. But when I check the box in “Customize” it then covers the top part of the header (banner) image. This only occurs when viewing it on a PC, when I view it under tablet or phone view it’s fine. I’m guessing there is a short piece of code that could fix that maybe? Thank you so much. :slight_smile:

Here’s the temp location for the sight while under construction:

Hello Steve,

Try adding this CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    @media only screen and (min-width: 1199px) {
      .site-header.has-banner {
          margin-top: 40px;
      }
    }

Thanks Kharisblank, but that seemed to put a another black margin between the menu and header and cover the header even more. Take a look:

Also, that Customizer Import/Export doesn’t work. I used it, upgraded to Moesia Pro, then when I went to import it said, “Export Failed, this is not the same theme”. :frowning:

Hello there,

Also, that Customizer Import/Export doesn’t work. I used it, upgraded to Moesia Pro, then when I went to import it said, “Export Failed, this is not the same theme”.

Please check if you’re running the latest version of Customizer Import/Export plugin. If the same problem occurs, edit the exported file. Find “moesia” (without quotes) and replace it with “moesia-pro-ii” (without quotes). Save it without changing the file type – keep it as .dat as it was.

Kharis
