Making footer and single page see through

Hi!

How do i make my footer and footer widget see-through like my header is. I want it to be the same.
At this point i have just set the background-color to transparent in custom css but i believe that it is not the background color that i should change to get the same result as the header.

Also how do i make the front page content see through aswell. I want to put a slider on top of it and then give the slider a transparent background so it will be right on the pages background picture.
Hope this can count as 1 topic about transparency or whatever its called :slight_smile:

Thanks for your time!

I have now fixed the transparency of my footer and footer widget area plus header area with following css codes:

#sidebar-footer.footer-widgets {
  background-color: rgba(37,42,45,0.9);
}

.footer-info {
  background-color: rgba(37,42,45,0.9);
}

#colophon.site-footer {
  background-color: rgba(37,42,45,0.9);
}

.site-header {
  background-color: rgba(37, 42, 45, 0.9);
}

Does anyone know how to make a single page template transparent aswell? I still havent figured this out. I only want it on my front page.

Hello @pcfabrikken,

You can try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.

.page-id-2 .site-content > .container,
.page-id-2 .hentry {
    background-color: transparent;
    border: none;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you Roman!

It worked perfectly.

Great! You are welcome @pcfabrikken! :slight_smile:
