Making a heading with a small underline without using the widget

Hello there

I love using Sydney theme.

I have one issue at the moment on my page http://www.abeautifulwedding.com.au/marriage-weddings/
I want to have a heading with the short underline which I know I can get if I use page builder however if I use page builder my tab area on that page won’t work.

I know how to underline the whole heading but I like the short underline and want all my pages to be consistent.

Is there a way I can add a code to get the result I want?

I appreciate your assistance.

Hello Abele,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

body.page-id-11 article.post-11 > div.entry-content > h2 {
    padding-bottom: 10px;
    position: relative;
    text-align: center;
}

body.page-id-11 article.post-11 > div.entry-content > h2::after {
    content: "";
    position: absolute;
    left: 50%;
    bottom: 0;
    width: 50px;
    height: 1px;
    margin-left: -25px;
    background-color: #efc050;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello there,

You can use this code:

<div class="panel-grid-cell">
  <h3 class="widget-title">This is the page title</h3>
</div>

and insert it to the most top line of text editor mode when composing your page content.

Regards,
Kharis

Thank you, Roman & Kharis Sulisti

I used the shorter code that Kharis Sulisti wrote and it worked perfectly but I have copied Roman’s code and filed it for future reference if I should need it.

Thank you both for answering my question so quickly.
