Make some top level nav points unclickable?

Hello Team,

I use Sydney on two sites and on both do i have the problem, that whenever I use sub-navigation points (level 2 navigation), I have no use for the parent element other than making a “hub” with links to the other sites. It would be better if the parent elements wouldnt have sites of their own and be non-clickable, whenever sub elements are used.

However, I have some points in my nav bar which don’t have sub elements and as such, need to remain clickable.

Example:
“OT-Info” doesn’t need to be clickable, only its child points
"Anleitungen" is a top level points that must be clickable.

Is there a way to solve this?
What is your standard approach to solving this “problem” - whats the intended website logic?

Hello,

You can try to create parent menu items as Custom Links and use # character in URL input field.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.
