Make row background image static and not have parallax effect

Hi, I’m starting on a website (www.1careprovider.com) using the wonderful Sydney theme. Wondering how I can make the background image of a row static and not have the parallax effect? Also is it possible to be selective about that? Meaning for some rows, I would like to keep the parallax effect but others I would want the image to be static. Thanks.

Hello Ctan,

Can you please specify the rows that you want to affect?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi, currently would like to fix the background image for the 2nd last row (the one with “What we do” as heading). But I would also like to know how do I do that in general as I will be adding more content and pages which I may want to do the same. Thanks

Hello Ctan,

You can try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.

.panel-row-style-for-363-1 {
    background-attachment: scroll !important;
    background-position: center !important;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

You can find other rows classes using browser tools if you know how to use them.

Thanks. That worked wonderfully

Hi, I tried to do the same for another image in page http://1careprovider.com/our-services/.
The first row image with the title “Our team and services”.

Added the code

.panel-row-style-for-477-0 {
    background-attachment: scroll !important;
    background-position: top !important;
}

But that did not work. Did I get it wrong?

Hello Ctan,

I have just tried to apply that code on your website using browser tools and it worked. How exactly you added that code?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi added the code in CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS. Codes there now are:

/*
You can add your own CSS here.

*/
.panel-row-style-for-363-0 {
    background-attachment: scroll !important;
    background-position: top !important;
}
.panel-row-style-for-477-0 {
background-attachment: scroll !important;
background-position: top !important;
}

Hello Ctan,

I have just checked this page once again and the code seems to be already applied. Have you resolved this issue?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Roman,
terribly sorry for taking so long to respond back. Yes it has been resolved. Thanks

You are welcome! :slight_smile:
