Main Menu Text Size

#1

I’m trying to use a larger font size for the Main Menu items. I have created a child theme and am editing the CSS stylesheet there. These are the CSS lines I have been editing.

.main-navigation ul ul li {
	padding: 5px;
	text-transform: none;
	font-family: 'Roboto', sans-serif;
	font-size: 20px;
	border-bottom: 1px solid #ebebeb;
}

When I change the value in font-size, the text size does not change. Am I editing the correct CSS line?

I saw you recommended the My Custom CSS plugin in a Moesia Pro thread. I’ve installed that, though I thought child theme CSS changes would do the trick.

You’re not editing the top items of the menu there. You should use this .main-navigation li. And you can do it in the child theme, I was recommending that plugin cause it’s faster for most users to install a plugin than to create a child theme. Anyway, the next version which we are submitting right now will have an option for the font size of the top level menu items.

That makes sense, and now the text is the size I want. Thank you.
