Logo size

Hello,

I’ve been trying to make my logo bigger, and used

.site-logo {
    max-height: 120px !important;
}

in custom CSS, but it does nothing. Reapplyed logo a few times and no change.
It also has a lot of padding on the right side, so it pushes my menu (that could be in one row easily) in two rows.

What could be the problem with logo size?
And is there a way to reduce the logo padding?

Thank you.

Hello @metka,

Can you please provide a link to your website in order to let me inspect it?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you.

Hello @metka, thank you for the link.

  1. Please check this topic:
    https://athemes.com/forums/topic/resize-logo-2/

  2. Please try to use the following CSS code in order to change logo to menu width ratio from 1:2 to 1:3 on 992px of width and more.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard → Appearance → Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

@media (min-width: 992px) {
    #header .branding-container {
        width: 25%;
    }

    #header .menu-container {
        width: 75%;
    }
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello,

the logo menu width code worked, thank you.
But I have a question about logo size, the link you provided talks about child theme, which I don’t have. Can I still use the same code?

Hello @metka,

Yes, you can use that code without a child theme :slight_smile:

Please try to use Code Snippets plugin, it works for me.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Ok, that works.
Thank you =)

You’re always welcome @metka, I’m glad that it works :slight_smile:

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have in future.
