Links in the same page

Hello there,

I’m working on my website ontw.rguijsproductions.nl, and I would like to change both the links behing the buttons on the frontpage, as well as the links behind the menu buttons on the right top. I would like them to refer to different rows on my front page (there is only 1 page), but what type of link should I use them? I’ve used hashtags for this with other themes (e.g. #footer), however it appears this doesn’t work with Perth.
Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,
Roland

Hello there,

Thank you for letting us know about it.

There is no HTML element with footer ID in Perth. Try to replace #footer to #colophon.

Dear Kharis,

Thanks for your response. This did work indeed. Is there also a way to refer to different rows on the page via the top right menu? (my website is ontw.rguijsproductions.nl).

Regards,
Roland

Hello there,

Thank you for updating me.

Yes, it is possible. Go to custom menu panel (Appearance > Menus) Then Add a custom link menu item. Enter http://ontw.rguijsproductions.nl/#elementID in the URL field https://cloudup.com/cAqlXkDLMBa.

Dear Kharis,

Thanks for your response. I’ve just one small question, how do I get to know what the elementID of the different rows of my pages are? Eg. #services doesn’t do it.

Roland
