Line spacing

good day again,

my issue is the spacing between lines of text. it appears to me that the spacing is defaulted to 1 1/2 lines space. it would be nice to be able to lessen the amount of space between lines.

i use “visual editor” widget for my text input. it has some good text editing options but not line spacing. i’ve tried the “text” widget but it has like no text editing capability. i’ve tried “richtexteditor for wordpress” widget but it makes the page go haywire so i disabled it.

so, is there a way to edit the line spacing for text ?

thanks again
anton

Hello Anton,

Try adding the following CSS code into Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS in your site dashboard.

.entry-content {
  line-height: 28px;
}

Adjust the value accordingly.

For more information about CSS line height, read on here.

Hi Kharis,

I tried copy pasting the code for removing the line spacing for sub menu, it didn’t work. Can you help figure it out? Here’s my site http://www.nextstarventures.com/

Thanks!

Try this code:

.textwidget p {
  line-height: 16px;
}

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Kharis,

Sorry for the confusion, what I meant is to remove the lines in the sub menus.

Hello there,

Try to apply the below CSS code:

#mainnav .sub-menu li a {
  border: none;
  line-height: 20px;
}
