Line break in header subtitle on image slider, with text slider stopped

Hi, followed the instructions here to create a line break in the header subtitle: https://athemes.com/forums/topic/sydney-pro-can-i-add-line-breaks-to-slider-subtitles/ but it only works if the text slider is active; I have it stopped on my site, though the image slider is running. Could you post the javascript that I can use get a line break in the subtitle with the text stopped after the first slide? As in the follow-up question from the original poster, I would also like the third line, after the break, to be smaller than the second.

Thank you!

Hello there,

I replied you already. Please try clearing site cache (if applied), as it could be causing the code won’t take any effect.

Sorry, only created a new topic cause I noticed you’d told the OP to do so if she had any other questions.

The first thing I did was to clear my cache. I also rebooted my browser–It’s still not working. The plugin I’m using is the TC Custom JavaScript that you’d suggested elsewhere.

Please share a link to your site, so I can have a look.

Developing the new site, but you can see a previous version of the slider here:

Thanks

Hello there,

From the source code of your site, the code doesn’t present in there. Perhaps site caching won’t load it. Please try clearing the cache via WP Super Cache administration panel.

Code should be in the source on that site now, too. Doesn’t work there either; also using the TC Custom JavaScript plugin.

Hello there,

I just a bug in my code. Sorry :frowning:

Please replace this line:

if( $('.header-slider .text-slider-stopped').length ) {

to:

if( $('.text-slider-stopped').length ) {

Save changes and flush cache.
