Issues with Perth Pro

Hi everyone, I’ve a couple of problems with Perth Pro. The first one is this:

Deprecated** : Methods with the same name as their class will not be constructors in a future version of PHP; Perth_Contact_Info has a deprecated constructor in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\site\wp-content\themes\perth-pro-ii\widgets\contact-info.php on line 3

I’ve PHP 7.2.10 but I tested also with oldest version and the result is the same.

The second one is that I cannot find a way to create a page with blog articles (classic view) filtered by specific categories.

The third is that I’m looking a way to add social icon into the footer but there’s nothing native, so I downloaded the Awesome plugin but the syntax is not accepted.

Any clue?

I solved the social icon but the other errors are still present.

  1. Currently it shouldn’t cause any issues, it should be resolved in a future theme version.

  2. Category archives should be created automatically, try to click a category in some post.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

So I must stay with the error in home page? Really?

About the second issue, I asked how to create a new page with a classic view for blog articles, filtered by categories.

Okay, you didn’t provide a link to your website so I didn’t know that you have enabled WP_DEBUG.

About the second issue, you don’t need to create those pages, such page should already exist for each of your categories (it’s automatically created when a new category is created). You can find them in Posts → Categories section, just hover over a category and click View. However, you can create new pages and use widgets to do the same thing (display posts of certain category).

Kind Regards, Roman.

Ok, but I want the full page view for articles. I understand that I don’t need to create a specific page for each categories but in this way I don’t have full customize. If you have a clue to fix it, let me know

I want the full page view for articles.

I’m not sure what exactly you want to achieve, unfortunately. Can you please provide more details, a link to your website, and some explanatory screenshots?

Kind Regards, Roman.

I want remove the left sidebar but I can’t because this not a page that I can customize.

Okay, I understand, thank you for the link.

  1. You can use one of these plugins to remove widgets from category archives:

  2. Then you might want to stretch content area of your category archives using the following CSS code. You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

body.archive.category #primary {
    width: 100%;
