Issue with call to action buttons

I have created a website http://www.edulambda.com using Sydney theme. The issue is that following two call to action buttons on my home page : “Courses” and “What we do” are getting duplicated and showing up on AWS Courses page (http://www.edulambda.com/aws-courses/) unnecessarily. I have tried every troubleshooting step possible, like deleting cache and creating the entire row again. However, the same issue persists after a gap of 1-2 hours.
Please help me as this bug is really annoying.

Hello @rhnarora84,

I’m not sure what buttons you are talking about. Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

Thanks for your prompt response. I have created five different menus for my website (http://www.edulambda.com). I have created a row on my home page using a layout builder with following two call to action buttons : “Courses” and “What we do”. You can find the screenshot of my home page by clicking on the following link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-IGrsGam4y7dDJDcTFkM1pfSWM/view?usp=sharing

Now, these call to action buttons of this row are automatically replacing the one on another page of AWS Courses (http://www.edulambda.com/aws-courses/). Following is the link to screenshot go this page : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-IGrsGam4y7SE1LNGR1ZU9od2c/view?usp=sharing
I have tried everything possible, like creating entire row again, deleting cache files etc. Still, no help.

Please have a look as to how the AWS Courses page should look like with correct Call to Action tabs :“System Operations on AWS” and “Architecting on AWS” : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-IGrsGam4y7bmpyT2RYX3UzYnc/view?usp=sharing
The problem is that these buttons are getting replaced automatically with the one on my home page.

I want to add one one thing over here - This issue persists after an hour after I create entire row again or delete cache.

Okay Rohan,

Thank you for detailed explanation.

Can you please try to activate a default theme (for example Twenty Sixteen) to see if it is a theme issue or a Page Builder issue?

Also you can try to create another page for AWS Courses.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks Roman. I will surely try the same and let you know.

Hi Roman,

As per your instructions, I created another page named Courses (http://www.edulambda.com/courses/) with same widgets and call to action buttons. Unfortunately, home page buttons “Courses” and “What we do” started appearing on this very new page after few hours. Please click on following link to access screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-IGrsGam4y7V3dHTU0tTU9fSGs/view?usp=sharing.

Also, I tried Twenty Sixteen and other default themes. But, it does not seems to be a good troubleshooting step as all call to action buttons does not appear at all.

Hello Rohan,

Can you please also try to deactivate all your plugins except recommended and see if it helps?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks for your prompt response Roman. I don’t want to mess around with my website by deactivating important plugins. Therefore, please find following the list of plugins that I have installed. I will really appreciate if you can let me know which one to disable:

Okay Rohan,

The thing is to deactivate all plugins except recommended to make sure that it’s not plugin conflict (this is common issue). But please remember about importance of regular backups to make that as safe as possible.

Kind Regards, Roman.

I have disabled all plugins except “Page Builder by SiteOrigin”. Shall I keep on monitoring my website after regular intervals to see if this issue persists or not? Or, do I need to perform any other step in the meanwhile?

Just look if your issue is fixed (but please remember to clear the cache before that). If it is fixed, then activate the plugins one-by-one until you find one that is causing the problem.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

Even after disabling all plugins except “Pagebuilder by SiteOrigin” and deleting cache, the issue erupted again.

Please suggest what we need to do next?

Regards,
Rohan Arora

Hello Rohan,

I have just checked your website once again and looks like it is looking just like you wanted it to look (you described it in this post above).

Can you please confirm that the issue is resolved?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

Thanks for your response. No, the issue is still not resolved. Please check the following page : http://www.edulambda.com/aws-courses/, where call to action buttons “Courses” and “What we do” are still replicating and showing up automatically.

Regards,
Rohan Arora

This is what I see on that page, I don’t see “Courses” and “What we do” buttons.

Are you sure that it’s not caching issue?

Kind Regards, Roman.

I wish this was just a caching issue. However, as per my experience this problem persists after few hours and these buttons start showing up again.
Anyways, let us keep this issue in monitoring status. I will surely be in touch with you and keep you updated.

Thank you so very much for your time and patience. Appreciate it.

You are welcome Rohan,

I will be glad to help you.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks Roman. The issue has erupted again. Please check following page: http://www.edulambda.com/aws-courses/

I’m not sure what needs to be done here as these buttons start appearing after a gap of few hours. It is beyond my level of understanding and expertise.

Roman - I can see that there is another post by a user named OLLIEHOUGH. The topic’s subject line is “Call to actions displaying the same on each page”.

Please check this one out as this issue is somewhere similar to mine. I guess you need to check internally and do some more research. This may point towards to some kind of bug within this theme.
