Information in the project topics

HI! I’, working in another great site, thanks for your themes!

I must ask how do I do these tinhs in the project topics:

Thanks for the (allways) help!

Hello there,

You can use the below CSS snippet to do those 4 tasks.

/* Hide project publication date */
.type-projects .post-meta .posted-on {
  display: none;
}

/* Change icon color */
.type-projects .post-meta .fa {
  color: #ff0000;
}

/* Change pencil icon */
.type-projects .post-format .fa:before {
  content: '\f015';
}

/* Remove pencil icon */
.type-projects .post-format {
  display: none;
}

To apply it on your site, add it into Additional CSS option under Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

To change the pencil icon, replace f015 from the code above with the Font Awesome content code; visit this link for complete list of them.

Thank you very much.
And how do I change the color of the icon (the pencil)?

Hello there,

You can change its background color by using this code:

.hentry.type-projects .post-format {
  background-color: #ff0000;
}

Kharis

Thanks!!! :slight_smile:

You’re welcome and best wishes :slight_smile:

Hi! I’m not achieving to change the pencil icon, in projects.
What I need to do:

  • ideally, have no background (or white background) and have this icon: fa-power-off []
  • If not possible change the background color, at least change the pencil to the power-off icon

Sorry about I’m a boring guy. :slight_smile: Is it possible to help me?
Thanks, again

Hello there,

To change it to the power-off icon, you can use this code:

.hentry.type-projects .post-format .fa-pencil:before{
  content: "\f011";
}

Kharis

Doesn’r work… :frowning:
It is to put in the CSS, right?

Yes, right.

Please validate the group of CSS code you have. There might be a line containing an error which precedes it. You can use this tool.

Kharis

OK, thanks very much. Here it is:

/* Hide project publication date */
.type-projects .post-meta .posted-on {
display: none;
}

/* Change icon color /
.type-projects .post-meta .fa {
color: #990066;
}
/
Hide employee publication date */
.type-employees .post-meta .posted-on {
display: none;
}
.hentry.type-projects .post-format {
background-color: #990066;
}
.single-employees .hentry .post-meta span.cat-links{
display: none;
}
.hentry.type-projects .post-format .fa-pencil:before{
content: “\f011”;
}

The CSS code doesn’t contain any error. Did you use site cache with a plugin like W3 Total Cache? If so, please flush it and then reload your site.

Kharis

I just ask if it is possible to have white background and the icon in this colour?
Thanks, again. :slight_smile:
