In Sydney

Hello there,

I´m using Sydney for my wordpress-installation on profiadress.de
The theme tells me, that <h1> is set as title and I named the title `profiadress DIREKTMARKETING´ in the title-section.
But different tools (Bing, OnPage) tell me, that there is no <h1> tag on the site.
Where can I adjust this?

Thanks
profiadress

Hello @profiadress,

I’m not sure what title you are referring to, can you please specify it?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Roman,

in the title-section of the Sydney-theme you can adjust the appearence of different segments of your page.
In the menu it is under

dashboard > design > edit

there you get a menu including
titel/subtitle/logo

where you can adjust the title of the website and the sub-title of the website.
I did this, assuming this would create an <h1>title-tag for the website but the tools tell me, that it didn´t.
Where can I define the <h1>Title-tag?

Thanks
Ralf

Hello Ralf,

Thank you for detailed explanation.

Currently you are displaying logo instead of site title and tagline. You can temporary remove logo in order to check what I mean.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Dear Roman,

thank you - that helped!
But how can I now put the logo back onto the site?
I know that I did it before but where´s the specific button for that?

Thanks
Ralf

Dear Roman,

But how can I now put the logo back onto the site?
I know that I did it before but where´s the specific button for that?

Edit: I now re-inserted the logo under
dashboard > design > edit

titel/subtitle/logo

But now it doesn´t show up.
There seems to be a button ref to http://profiadress.de but it´s not visible.
Google dev tools tell me, that:

<div class=“col-md-4 col-sm-8 col-xs-12”> ==$0
<h1 class=“site-title”>
profiadress DIREKTMARKETING</h1>

this should include the logo, right?

Thanks for your help.
Ralf

Hello Ralf,

It looks like you have already added the logo.

Can you please provide more details about this question?
