Impossible to customize sub-menus font

Hi there,

I am quite new with Wordpress but I am currently creating a website with the Sydney theme. I was able to customize font for the entire site, except for submenus.
I don’t understand why the submenus do not have the same font family and font size.
Could someone help me please?

Try adding the below CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    #mainnav ul ul.sub-menu a {
      font-size: inherit;
      font-family: inherit;
    }
