Import example data

Hi.

I’d like to know how I can import the sample data for the template below cause I’m trying to install it and the visulization is so different… it’s not as in the webpage link.

I had Imported this xml file sydney-demo-content.xml and I can’t see it like the demo page…

http://demo.athemes.com/sydney-pro/

Best regards,

Hello Cristina,

Please check Sydney Documentation for basic instructions, and Sydney Pro Documentation for extra features of Pro version.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks for the reply.

I followed the steps of the documentation but my site is not exactly the same as shown in the example.

I imported the file sydney-demo-content.xml, and I generated the following errors:

Error al importar product_type external
Error al importar product_type grouped
Error al importar product_type simple
Error al importar product_type variable
Error al importar “Sydney”: Tipo de entrada no válido wpcf7_contact_form

Exists another XML file where I can import the structure and content of the Sydney-pro on my website http://www.rdsmarketingdigital.com/web/ as http://demo.athemes.com/sydney-pro/?

Best regards.

Hello Cristina,

Please set static front page, this video should help you:

Please let me know if you need more help.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you very much for the comment.

Yes I have seen how to create a static page with my sidney template downloaded freely, but I have purchased the sydney-pro template. There is no way to load the data, modules and pluggin as shown in the http://demo.athemes.com/sydney-pro?

I need to create my website as shown in the http://demo.athemes.com/sydney-pro template, with the same plugins, modules, data…etc

Could I download a ZIP file with sample data loaded Sydney-pro, as I have seen in other templates?

Best regards,

Hello Cristina,

I have sent you an email with demo content .xml file.

Please answer here, on forum, I don’t check that inbox.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you for your quick reply, Roman.

I’m trying to import the file “sydneypro.wordpress.2016-10-24.xml”, from Tools -> Import -> Wordpress -> Run importer, but it generates the following error:

This does not seem to be a WXR file is missing or invalid version number WXR.

How could I import the file correctly on my website?

Best Regards,

Hello Cristina,

Looks like that file was invalid, please try another one that I’ve just emailed you.

Again, please answer here, on forum

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks for your email, Roman.

I have already imported the file sydneypro.wordpress.2016-10-24(1).xml, on my website: http://www.rdsmarketingdigital.com/web/

I do not see differences between sydney import-demo-content.xml and sydneypro.wordpress.2016-10-24 (1) .xml

These are the messages when I try to import it:

http://www.rdsmarketingdigital.com/screenshot/screenshot4.jpg
http://www.rdsmarketingdigital.com/screenshot/screenshot5.jpg
http://www.rdsmarketingdigital.com/screenshot/screenshot6.jpg

There is any way to import all data, tickets, menus, etc. to make it work as http://demo.athemes.com/sydney-pro after import?

Best Regards

Hi,

I think the issue here is that you’re not seeing the layout similar to our demo? Note that you currently have a blog setup and your content is actually here: http://www.rdsmarketingdigital.com/web/my-front-page/
It’s not 100% like on the pro demo because you already had that page created when you first imported, so it didn’t import again with the file that Roman sent you.
Have a look at the documentation please, the first video will show you how to set that page with all the rows as your homepage.
