Image sizes on Masonry for blog posts

Hello,

The featured images I use on posts range from a number of different resolutions and aspect ratios. For the blog post layout I have it set to masonry, however due to images being different different sizes and aspects it’s not neatly aligned and actually gets very messy.

Is it possible to set a default size for the blog post featured image?

I’ve tried the following code but that did not work.

    .blog article .entry-thumb img {
        height: 250px;
    }

Hello there,

Specifying a fixed height for featured images would produce another issue – they’d not get scaled proportionally. To possible best solution is to set equal height to each post column in the same row. I’ve written a code solution for this, which you can follow here in this thread.

Let me know if further questions come up.
